Tracey W., Oct 4, 2009, 10:21AM EDTBest of luck on your book! It sounds great. I'd love to join your group, but truly I'm rarely here anymore. I freelance and I've been writing books of my own. I'm a total amateur, but I guess we all are until we publish the first one.

R.A. Baker, Jul 14, 2009, 6:56PM EDTHi Kerry.
Your novel Occuscript sounds intriguing--great concept, by the way. I wouldn't mind joining your group, if you decide to start one.
Take care, and best of luck with your new novel.
R.A. Baker (Author of Rayna of Nightwind).

C A., Jul 13, 2009, 3:29PM EDTWell, Kerry, I am a sucker for the fantasy genre...though I do like to keep it grounded with some reality, but that's just me.
I took two years to research my as-yet-unpublished novel, and one year to write it...I'm a bit of a stickler for authenticity, and my story contains much in the way of Wiccan culture, but I like just about all fantasy storytelling.
So, in answer to your question I'd be delighted to participate in your new group...and thanks for asking. -
Sharon P., Jul 11, 2009, 9:27AM EDTSounds pretty good. I'll be glad to join if you send me an invite.
Your book sounds pretty good. I like the concept of spell book giving magic spells. -
Brenda W., Jul 10, 2009, 6:24PM EDTWhat will the group be about? Love the gist of the fantasy novel. Hope it's doing well. I'm still trying to publish mine.

James Ciriaco, Jul 10, 2009, 4:20PM EDTHi, Kerry! Thanks for the ping, and for pointing me in the direction of your forthcoming book. If you don't mind, I'm going to remove it now, as your advertisement takes up a lot of space on my page. But rest assured that I have read it.

Gerald_Waving my Freak-flag High Brewster, Jul 10, 2009, 3:22PM EDTWell, Kerry, after reading a few pages, I'd have to say that a character-driven approach is what gives most fantasy its appeal for me, and if the twins Cantril and Merril are any indication, I'm sure I'll enjoy your work immensely! My favorites, Charles de Lint and Mercedes Lackey obviously are fully aware of the value of well developed and believable characters, and in mastering that art, have insured MY inexhaustible interrest eternally, at any rate.
